Telcel's 3G "double data" promotion has ended.
Since July 2010, Telcel have been offering twice the "normal" data limit on their 3G plans and on Amigo 3G prepaid. The promotion has come to an end.
Promotion Ended
Now, when you get (for example) 30 days of access with 3GB of data for 477 pesos on Telcel Amigo, that is what you will get. Just 3GB of data. For the past six months, it was 6GB.
You do still have the option of renewing when the data allowance runs out, or when the 30 days are up, whichever is first.
This may however double the cost of access for heavy users.

I live in the South Campos....Bahai Santa Maria...we get Telcel cellular but I don't think we get 3G data down that far....I am checking that by looking for the 3G indicator on my iPhone...would that be the correct way? So I guess I would be stuck with Huges Net then......
